Phuket
At the beginning of April I went to the beach island of Phuket with a few friends. The name may sound familliar because it is a very popular tourist destination and was unfort. hit by the Tsunami late last year. However, because tourism is the main activity of the economy efforts to clean up and rebuild were quite quick. Our flights (direct) from Singapore to Phuket were only $15SGD each way (~$12-13CAD)!!!Honestly Phuket is HEAVEN!!! Most gorgeous and beautiful place I have ever been to in my life. We didn't do much except go to the beach one day and go island hoping the next so there isn't much to report about, but I expected this to be mainly a photo entry anyways.
Waiting at the airport for our flight to leave. That is Aruni (from Aussie) on the left and Mike (from Chicago) on the right.
To be honest I don't think Aruni liked me very much :P... haha Aruni was great and we had a very fun-filled friendship.
I went to Thailand about 4 times and every time I had phad-thai. Thailand has some AMAZING food.
Now the good stuff...
Yes ppl, those are my feet :) How clear is that water 'eh.

We checked out Phuket city one evening for a couple of hours as well. Architecture was cool but nothing incredibly amazing there though. Besides we were there for the beaches!!! But got some nice photos.
We had a little GQ session in the tuk-tuk. So who do you think is the best model?
My friend Haran (from Waterloo) was in the area and so he decided to tag along as well. It was good seeing an old buddy after a while. Anyways he joined us for our island hoping day.
Again, the water is AMAZING.
There is a scene from the movie "The Beach" that was shot here.
I got to go snorkeling with those fish!!! If you ever get the chance to go snorkeling go. It is a truly wonderful and memorable experience.
Ok, so I've got some work to do :P
The funny thing is the above two shots are actually 2 seperate shots, but the exact same pose and pos'n. I really should consider a career change.
That's me snorkeling.
So in short summary Phuket was... AWESOME!!!
