My great Arventure

1st mishap... so far ;)

In Frankfurt Germany right now.... after inadvertently travelling half the freakin' country!!! We got on the wrong train to Frankfurt and it ended up costing us 2 hrs :S but have no fear for it wasn't our fault. Apparently the train station that we caught the train from (Mainz) is notorious for not being on time so we caught the wrong train because the trains were backlogged. so don't worry we are still expert travellers ;)

the last couple of days in Germany have been amazing :D Cologne was a very pleasant surprise. The cathedral there was gorgeous (photos later on) and later we went to a cool jazz bar. See Rohit's blog for more details :D

Yesterday we hit up the Mosele river valley which is the wine region of Germany (Think Napa Valley but with bratwurst). We stayed in a small town called Cochem. This place was gorgeous!!! A perfect picutre-postcard small town with a pleasant charm. It's not as well known to tourists outside of Germany so there isn't a heavy tourist feel to it (i.e. no McDonald's).

We visited a winery for a 'slef-guided' tour and tasted some amazing white wine. At night Rohit and I went up to the town castle (God, I love Europe... every town has their own castle!!!) for a little 'ourventure' and enjoyed the view from atop the hill. This morning we actually took a tour of the castle where Rohit discovered that his camera works beyond point, click and shoot. You know what this means... even better GQ shots now :P

And for the parents, don't worry laundry was completed yesterday :D
