Chinatown

Around this time of year alot of Asia (including Singapore) gets ramped up into a celebratory mood because of the oncoming holiday... the Chinese New Year!!!

Yesterday night and the night before (Saturday and Friday respectively) I headed to Chinatown and discovered that celebrations have already started. Apparently there were also fireworks last night, but we got there too late to see them. Anyways, here are some photos that I snapped. Alot of really colourful decoration have been put up. I can't wait to see the actual celebrations on the New Year!!!
