Sun, sand and the beach... in the middle of January!!!!
Yesterday (Saturday) several of us decided to enjoy some of the beautiful weather here in Singapore. So we decided to check out Sentosa Island, http://www.sentosa.com.sg/, Singapore's largest tourist resort.(On a side note, I don't think I've ever seen the temperature drop below 25 Celsius... and that was at night!!!! And apparently this is the winter season meaning it will only get warmer :S)
So a bunch of us went early in the morning.
I went....
Kiran went...
Mel & Lam went...
Everybody went!!!!
Ppl can take a cable car to Sentosa island, which is what we decided to do.
You get a gorgeous view of the city skyline from up there.
After taking the monorail around the island (which isn't that big) we decided to go for the one and only activity we are really there for... the beach!!! Altough Sentosa island is a man made island, and the beach does seem somewhat "fake" it was still quite nice.

After several hours of being lazy on the beach we decided to check out the Orchid garden, which was prett much the only other free thing on the island :P
All in all it was a fun and relaxing day!!!!
But maybe I should start studying soon....
